THE STORY BEHIND
A Life Rooted in Creativity
My love for art and design started early—I was always drawn to creativity, constantly experimenting with different mediums. I pursued a fine arts degree in visual communication, dreaming of becoming a visual artist with my work exhibited in galleries. But as time went on, things didn’t go as I had planned.
After spending some time as a graphic designer in the corporate world, I left to help manage my family’s business. While it was a shift from design, it taught me valuable lessons about entrepreneurship, adaptability, and resilience. Little did I know, these experiences would shape the way I approach branding today.
From Photography to Branding: My Journey as a Creative Entrepreneur
In 2016, I met Lloyd—the love of my life and a talented photographer. Together, we launched a photography business, capturing weddings, birthdays, and life’s most treasured moments. Our passion led us to explore newborn photography, and by 2019, after getting married, we had built a home studio—creating art out of life’s earliest days.
But then the world changed. The pandemic hit, and I found myself five months pregnant, facing uncertainty. As a new mom, my priorities shifted, and I embraced a new path—freelancing as a graphic designer. What started as a way to work from home rediscovering my love for branding and web design. I realized my passion wasn’t just about creating beautiful designs—it was about helping fellow entrepreneurs craft brands that elevate their businesses and free up time to focus on what truly matters.
After the pandemic, my husband returned to the events industry while also working as a freelance photo editor. Navigating our careers while raising a family hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has shaped me into the business owner I am today.
